INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

What's the International Foundation Programme?

Develop your academic study skills and English language ready to progress on to an undergraduate degree with a UK university.

International Foundation Programmes are ideal if you:

  • Have 11-12 years of schooling, or local equivalent (e.g. 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above)
  • Have IELTS 4.5 or above (minimum of 4.0 in each component) from a UKVI Approved Centre
  • Want to study an undergraduate degree at a UK university

HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1

Choose your:

  • Undergraduate subject and course
  • University

Follow the application process to submit your application

STEP 2

Study your International Foundation Programme

  • 2-4 terms depending on your IELTS level
  • Develop your English language level
  • Study pathway-specific content to build your subject understanding
  • Familiarise yourself with UK academic culture
  • Prepare for undergraduate study
  • Study on campus and benefit from access to all of the university facilities and services that you can expect throughout the duration of your studies

STEP 3

Progress to your degree studies!

Successfully pass your International Foundation Programme and progress on to Year One of your undergraduate degree.*

Have IELTS 5.5 ? (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) See International Year One

*In some instances, there may be additional entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate degree.
