INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
The International Foundation Programme prepares you for university study in the UK. It helps you develop your academic skills and improve your ability to use English in an academic context, together with building your subject knowledge.
This programme allows you to study alongside other international students while building subject knowledge and essential skills needed for success at the University of South Wales. You'll learn to manage your time, adapt to academic life in the UK, and gain experience with assessments to prepare for undergraduate study.

We want you to feel at home while you are studying at USW, so we have a range of good quality accommodation.
Living in Halls of Residence is a great way to meet people and make new friends. You’ll be close to the library, lectures and the Students’ Union, plus you won’t have to budget for travelling costs. You can also choose to live in a privately rented house with other students.

Fees and Funding
We offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to support self-funded international students on their journey to study with us. If you encounter any financial difficulties in paying your tuition fees, our Finance Team is available to provide support and advice. Our Student Money Advice Team also helps students budget and manage their finances, ensuring they are aware of the costs associated with student life in different cities.
