Student expectations for online engagement
Students are expected to actively participate and engage in online classes, delivered over Webex (a videoconferencing platform), this involves:
- having your camera on for the session
- responding to questions and instructions from your lecturers
- using the online chat function, reaction buttons and microphone as necessary

Q: What do I do if I cannot access my timetable?
A: Contact the student advice & support centre.
Q: How do I access my online class?
A: Click on this link: https://qa-learning.webex.com/ Find the relevant Webex code on your timetable and input the number. The password for every session is Monday.
Q: Who should I contact if I have problems accessing Weblearn?
A: Contact the registry team.
Q: What do I do if I cannot access my online class?
A: Contact the online learning team.
Q: I have not studied for a while, who can help me develop these skills?
A: Book an appointment with the ACE team.
Q: I will not be able to attend class, who should I contact?
A: Contact the attendance team (but remember, your attendance is monitored and must remain at a satisfactory level to avoid being withdrawn).
Q: Why have I not received my maintenance money yet even though it has been been approved?
A: : Payment dates on your approval paperwork are guidelines and not accurate dates. Your first maintenance payment will be sent to you two to four weeks after the day your application was approved and where you have commenced learning on your programme.
