How to get to our campus
Solent University is located in the heart of Southampton city centre, which is a 10–15-minute walk from Southampton Central train station. Southampton has a range of different transport options to get you to our campus.
Directly outside The Spark building, you will find a number of bus stops servicing the local area. The Unilink U6 bus stops directly outside the University, as well as West Quay shopping centre, Portswood, the University of Southampton and Southampton General Hospital.

Our award-winning teaching and learning building, The Spark, is a centrepiece of our campus – and everything about it is focused around you and your learning. Our lecture theatres include at-seat charging sockets for laptops and tablets, while the latest lecture-capture technology uploads to our virtual learning environment. The Spark is a BREEAM ‘excellent’-rated building for its sustainability credentials.
