Blended learning
We believe that learning in a blended way helps you to develop the skills that are needed to work in a digital workplace.
What is blended learning?
Blended learning combines timetabled live online learning and face-to-face on-campus sessions. With live learning making up 50% of timetabled learning activities, we have ensured the live contact hours you have with your lecturers have remained the same.
We have designed this approach to offer our students greater opportunities to interact with lecturers and classmates with the added flexibility to fit studying around other commitments. When you have timetabled live online sessions, you are not required to be on campus, but can book a study space and have access to the facilities and student support services on campus.
What can I expect?
- The number of live contact hours that you have with your lecturers remain the same.
- You will have timetabled sessions delivered face-to-face on-campus.
- You will have timetabled live online sessions that will allow you to participate and ask questions throughout the sessions.
- You can access support services remotely, and our campus is open, so you can book and use campus facilities and services at a time that works for you, whether it's during your timetabled on-campus days or outside of these hours.
