Upon successful completion of the International Year One, you’ll progress directly to the second year of your course at Southampton Solent University.

The International Year One – BSc (Hons) Computer Science is a degree preparation programme designed to bridge your academic and English language gaps, offering a fast-track entry to Year 2. With October and January intakes, you'll be ready to join your chosen undergraduate degree the following September.

What will I study?
Starting with the fundamentals, you will explore UX (User Experience), understanding how to design user-friendly interfaces. You will delve into networks and security, gaining essential knowledge to protect and manage network systems. The programme includes problem solving through programming, where you will develop critical coding skills to address various challenges. You will also study databases, learning how to effectively manage and utilise data and much more.
Progression at Solent University
After completing the International Year One, you will be eligible to enrol onto BSc (Hons) Computer Science at Solent University.
