STUDENT INFLUENCERS
Volunteer Student Influencers are students who create videos for us to use on our social media channels.
The current programme allows us to offer vouchers to students, merch, student influencer events, a reference and personal branding education sessions (subject to availability) to support with bringing them on board. We don't disclose to the students the voucher amount, but current budgets allow for £15 one for all voucher per video.
Processes
We have a folder on SharePoint you can find here which has all of our volunteer student influencer content in it, including all process docs describing how we source them, onboard them and what we offer. There's also a budget tracking doc for the student influencers, and you can see who we have in the second tab on the consent form to keep track of who we're currently working with.

Important! Please read below on where and how to access the student data.
The consent form which students sign to become a student influencer, is the short consent form. Please ensure you follow the below process when accessing and using the student data:
- If you don’t have direct access to the consent form, you will either need to ask a member of the marketing team for access to the excel spreadsheet. Please do not save the spreadsheet on your device, export or store the student data elsewhere.
- Do not email or contact students who have selected no on their consent form. If they’ve said no after filming and you can’t track them down physically to double check their consent, we cannot use their footage, the team must be made aware and their content deleted.
- Do not contact, email, or converse with students via email unless they've signed this form.
Please do not store student information on your device or SharePoint. This is for the protection of our students data.
