Q: What services can I provide?

Q: What services should I not provide?
QAHE expect all our representatives to provide support and guidance to students, however you are not able to write personal statements on behalf of the student or copy a personal statement from another student.
Q: What do I do if a student asks you to help with their assignments, even it’s to check the spelling or grammar?
We understand that you may want to provide support and assistance even after the student has enrolled and started their course, however, you must always refer the student to the University/Lecturer if they require help or support with their coursework.
Q: When is commission paid?
Commission claims should be submitted enrolment has closed and all your students have been enrolled.
For international representatives this is paid once 66% of the tuition fees are paid.
Q: How do I claim commission?
Please submit your commission claim invoices to QAHE.agent@qa.com copying in your QA Higher Education contact. For further information, please refer to section 8 of this Representative’s Guide.
Q: How long will it take to become an approved representative of QA Higher Education?
The application and approval process usually takes between two and six weeks, dependant on how quickly references can be obtained and reviewed. QAHE reserve the right to decline applications.
Q: How many representatives does QA Higher Education work with?
QA Higher Education currently a large network of approved representatives that work across International, European and domestic recruitment.
Q: Can I use the University logos on my websites and marketing materials?
Only with the prior permission from QA Higher Education and the University partner through completing the marketing approval process.
Q: How long does my contract run for?
Representative contracts run for an initial period of three years, subject to an annual review.
Q: Can I use sub-agents?
Yes, you can. However, you are ultimately responsible for the information, support and applications that they provide QAHE and its university partners.
Q: How do I increase my commission rates with QA Higher Education?
Contracts are offered on a performance basis, so high levels of performance will allow you to progress in terms of your contract type.
Q: I have staff that want to study. Can they study through QAHE and its university partners?
In November 2017, QAHE created a policy that Representatives (Agents) or their staff could not apply to study through QAHE and/or its university partners.
Students who have applied for any courses through QAHE or its university partners cannot be employed by Representatives (Agents). Where one of the above applies, Representatives of QAHE must terminate all existing student relationships allowing no more than 3 months’ notice for those students to source alternative work, from the date of this notification.
In this instance, Representatives must notify the Internal Compliance Manager of any staff member who is studying with QAHE and its university partners, immediately via email – QAHE Agent Compliance@qa.com
