WHAT IS BYNDER?
Using Bynder as our DAM system, will allow us to store, organise, manage and share digital content such as images, videos, documents and templates. Streamlining how we access and distribute assets, ensuring everyone works with the most up-to-date, approved, and on-brand materials.
Bynder also includes powerful tools like AI, advanced search, filtering, version control, and permission settings, making content management faster, more efficient, and more secure.
Think of it as our one source of truth for branded and approved materials from QA Higher Education and all our partner universities.

GETTING STARTED
We have put together the below steps to help get you started on Bynder, ensuring you'll make get the most out of our assets.
Logging in:
- Use the login credentials provided to you by the marketing team.
- Visit qahighereducation.bynder.com then enter your credentials to access the platform.
- If you experience any login issues, please use the 'support' button for assistance.


Homepage overview:
You will land on a homepage showing:
- Search bar at the top.
- Navigation menu with access to Assets and Collections.
- Quick links to popular filters and brand guidelines.
- Articles with useful information or announcements (e.g. newly added partner assets).
- Collections – this is where you will find latest materials collated for quick access.
Navigating the asset page:
The asset library, where you can view all the available content you have access to.
Key features:
- Folders & categories: Assets are organised by partner university, campaign, or content type (e.g. brochures, images, videos).
- Search bar: At the top of the page, you'll find an AI-powered search bar. You can search using: - File name or keywords - Asset type (e.g. PDF, JPG, MP4) - Partner or location title
- Filters panel: On the left-hand side, refine your results by: - Date uploaded or created - File type or resolution - Tags or custom metadata - Asset usage (e.g. digital, print, social)
How to find a specific asset?
- Use the search bar with a keyword (e.g. “Solent 2025 brochure”).
- Refine your search using the filters for faster results.
- Preview assets by clicking the thumbnail to check content and file details.




Downloading assets:
Once you’ve found the asset you need, downloading it is simple and flexible.
- Click on the asset thumbnail to open the preview window.
- Review details like file name, resolution, upload date, and description.
- Select the ‘Download’ button (usually in the top-right or below the preview).
- Choose your preferred size or format: - For images: Web, Original, Print-quality sizes - For documents: PDF or alternate available formats
- Click ‘Download’ and the file will be saved to your device.
Additional features:
- Bulk downloading: Tick multiple assets and download them all at once.
- Download history: Check which files you or your team downloaded and when.
- Access control: You’ll only see assets you’re allowed to access, based on your user role.
