STUDENT FUTURES AND CAREERS
The Student Futures and Careers team supports you in achieving your ambitions, making the most of your experiences, developing your skills and managing your future career. They provide a wide range of activities and support to help you at every step of your journey.
Even after you graduate, we’re still here to support you! As an undergraduate or postgraduate student, you’ll receive two years of dedicated career support to help you take the next step in your journey.

Internship and placement service
The internship and placement service helps you obtain industry-related work-experience, as well as paid work (subject to visa restrictions). Whether this is part of your Advance Practice Masters or to develop your employability skills outside of your studies, our team are on hand to offer you support and guidance with finding placements.

Job opportunities
Employers targeting Northumbria students and graduates will advertise vacancies on JobsOnline. You’ll get exclusive access to these graduate jobs, student and graduate internships, part-time work, volunteering and work experience opportunities.

We also send out a weekly newsletter highlighting current job opportunities and on-campus workshops and events in your local area. You can learn more about networking opportunities, employed-led events and upcoming recruitment simulations.
