The Northumbria University Bursary and Scholarship packages will provide financial help to a wide range of students, including rewarding high-achieving students and supporting those with an ‘overseas’ fee status.
All Scholarships and Bursaries awarded by the University are support that does not need to be paid back.

For self-financing international applicants studying our full-time postgraduate programmes, we are happy to offer the option of spreading the cost of your course over three months interest-free.

Financial support for UK students
Undergraduate Tuition Fee Loans
Tuition fee loans pay for your course and all undergraduate students are eligible for a loan to cover the cost of these fees, regardless of your household income. The money is paid directly to the university and you aren’t required to start repaying the loan until you earn over the threshold amount.

Government Loan for Postgraduate study UK students are now able to apply for a £10,000+ postgraduate loan. The loan can be used to pay your course fees and help with living expenses. You are able to split your loan across the duration of your course if your course lasts more than one year.
