Maintenance loan

Full-time UK/Home undergraduate students can also apply for a Maintenance Loan to help towards living costs, such as accommodation, food, books, travel and other expenses.

The amount you can borrow depends on where you live, where you study and your household income. Maintenance Loans are paid straight into your bank account and will be transferred in three payment instalments at the start of each term.
