Health and Social Care

Do you aspire to build a successful health and social care career, or perhaps specialise in housing management?

This programme is designed to help you develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to start a professional career in the health and social care sector. The programme is aligned with the standards specified by Skills for Health (the Skills Council for the NHS). Upon completion of the course, you’ll be able to demonstrate to prospective employers that your advanced skills conform to the National Occupational Standards (NOS).

This course explicitly supports the development of your academic skills. It equips you with the personal and professional skills necessary not only for your studies but also for successful engagement with graduate-level opportunities in the workplace.

The course is also fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), so if you choose to specialise in housing you’ll receive free student membership of the CIH.
